Wild Blooms
tending the wild blooms of grief
WILD BLOOMS is an invitation to gather together in movement and creativity, welcoming the life force within our grief. In this dance the precious jewels in our broken hearts can blossom, blessed by our devastation and our hope.
Grief is love, alive and fierce, it strips us to the bones of what truly matters. From here new life can grow; watered by our tears,
warmed by our wild fury, nurtured by our holding and given breath by our compassion.
Dance is a highly effective way to move with intense emotion. The awake, moving body is a safe and versatile vessel for the heart, in which we can evolve rather than be overtaken by what we feel. We’ll dance with the Movement Medicine elemental heart maps, resourcing ourselves and discovering creative ways to relate to loss and the life that follows. Rooted in human connection, we’ll welcome, express, and share what’s ready to emerge - glimpsing the wild blooms of renewal within our grief.
Drawing on Internal Family Systems, Processwork and creative reflection to support integration and encourage understanding and resilience.
This is precious time in dancing community to learn about ourselves and each other and strengthen our connection to all that gives and supports life, including our grief.
The seed and soil of this work lives in Rosie's own journey with loss and heartbreak. The workshops and courses offered have been developed in the rich humus of personal experience, alongside working with both groups and individuals (online and in person) to support them in navigating their grief landscapes. Grief It Seems
Grief it seems, is meant
To undo us, unravel us, unleash us
Working itself inside
The micro fibres of every cell
Requiring of us
More than we knew we had
Meeting afresh
Every emotion we’ve ever felt
… and then some we never knew were possible
It’s a mighty roar, a soft rain, a howling gale
A desolate landscape, a grey mist
A warm hand on our heart and a wail in our belly
A touching of infinite love across time and space
A vast unscalable mountain
A landslide into an abyss
Glimmers of the brightest sun
A dark nest to curl up inside
And open arms calling us home ...
