Momentum - 2025 Somatic Year Programme
Growing agency and understanding
Programme overview
Come join us for this exploration into movement and systemic understanding. An opportunity to land deep inside your dancing being and somatic intelligence, while gaining a greater understanding of how your system speaks to itself and the external world.
A 10 month dive into resource and support for our individual agency in conversation with others and the environment we move through. We will work with Movement Medicine combined with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Processwork, a particular somatic and systemic weave that supports kindness and understanding alongside expression and integration.
We will create enough safety to give space for the fiery edges as well as the tender softening and lightness of breath. Landing deep inside somatic practices and the resource of the body in motion, from here leaning into IFS and Processwork. So we can explore and expand into both the resource and challenge, to find a relational place of greater choice and health. Enabling us to allow the tides and rhythms of our own nature while meeting the rhythms of life around us.
Constantly returning to movement and dance as the ground of holding and connection, we will also work with IFS to meet and understand our inner world better. Bringing inclusion and appreciation, so parts of us that maybe haven’t had much care are seen in their goodness and supported in their activation. Thereby enabled to move from compulsion to choice, from overwhelm and overstretch to agency and capacity. We will use Processwork tools to support our internal systems, as well as this, to explore the collective parts or roles we get dreamt into. So we can do the same between us, welcoming the roles and bringing them into more understanding and relationship with each other. Be more ‘for’ each role and what it is trying to bring attention to, so collectively we can move from activation and othering to agency and understanding.
This 10 month programme will be an opportunity for deepening and developing your personal practice and understanding of this particular combination of modalities as Rosie brings them. So you can gain perspective and bring care to your own somatic and systemic being. It also creates a strong personal ground for deeper study and future professional development trainings with Rosie and colleagues.
Supporting Team
This course has been long in Rosie’s dreaming and will be led by her. An important part of the support and holding you will receive is from the team of highly experienced individuals assisting on the programme. David Ellis, Sharon Ellis Furr and Ilaria Franchi will be on the teaching support team and will be mentoring on the programme. We will also be supported by Lies Van Hee with her visual art and in the room care and Emilio Mula with his creativity, in the background support and technical know-how.
