CULTIVATE is an invitation to till the soil of your somatic intelligence and dancing self, to deepen your understanding of how your system communicates within and beyond you.

Weaving Internal Family Systems (IFS) with Movement Medicine, we grow a particular somatic and systemic wisdom that nurtures kindness and understanding alongside agency and freedom of expression. Dancing to surrender ourselves to the intelligence of our awake moving bodies, allowing the self energy of the spirit of the dance to expand and nourish us.

We will then move into embodied IFS practice, so parts of us that are ready to come and dance can be welcomed, understood, and offered care and appreciation. Thereby supported to grow from compulsion towards choice, from overwhelm and overstretch towards capacity and courage.

Drawing on the resource of our dancing village to collectively cultivate ease and connection over activation and separation. Through giving space and permission for the aliveness of our own nature while tending to the living landscape of life around and between us.

This is an opportunity to be genuinely nourished, by movement, by music, by the simple and profound experience of being in good company. So that when we return to our lives, we carry with us a little more resilience, a little more capacity, a little more of ourselves.

TOTNES, UK 13 - 15 November 2026 
Friday 13 November 7pm - 9pm, Saturday 14 November 10.30am - 6pm, Sunday 15 November 10.30am - 5pm
Depending on venue the start and finish times on Saturday and Sunday might shift to 30 minutes later).
We are waiting to confirm venue, we hope to be in:
Studio 6, Lower Close Studios, Dartington Hall, Totnes, TQ9 6EN
If not we will be in:
Harberton Parish Hall, Harberton, Totnes TQ9 7SD
If we are in Harberton and you are coming by train, or live locally and do not have a car, lifts to and from Totnes will be avialble each day. Venue and times will be confirmed by August

Tiered cost please pay responsibly according to your means:
£160 low cost (money is pretty tight), £180 regular (money is comfortable),  £200 supportive (money is relatively plentiful).

Pricing structure:
We have a three tier system in recognition of the wide disparities in our access to financial resources. If those who have more contribute more, this helps make the workshop accessible to dancers with less money. Please consider the wider context and use your integrity in choosing what amount you pay. Thank you.

Places at the lowest level are limited. So if you are able, please pay the middle or higher rate, leaving the lower rate tickets for those who need them. If the lowest rate is out of reach for you, please contact us about bursaries.
